YCC SINCE 2002
Young Cattle Company was created with the purchase of C Ms Pure Gold 2024 (Morgan) from the Colyer Herefords in 2002. Morgan went on to be unbeaten in Illinois and Reserve National Champion at the 2003 Junior Nationals. We have sold many offspring, but have also retained four daughters in our herd. Her genetics are continually producing Champions.
- We have sold cattle in Fort Worth Stock Show, Nebraska Cattleman’s Classic , Black Hills Stock Show, and Oklahoma Hereford Association Native American sale.
- Cattle are always for sale private treaty or offered on-line sales.
- We continue to be active in the community and attend Eastview Christian Church
- Yale is on the Lexington FFA advisory committee, Illinois Hereford Association board of directors Lexington Kiwanis Club.
- Abby teaches special education in El Paso school district and is a representative for her co-workers to the union.
- Raising quality Hereford cattle while raising our family in a strong Christian home is our goal.
